I find when peace of mind is crucial, you can't beat a private car, or a taxi which is cheaper. Its not to costly if you book a hotel that is near the airport.

Yes, getting to and from an airport always seems to be at a bit of a premium price, no matter what. But the Edinburgh airport bus remains reasonable value, and a good service, and the slow airport bus is even cheaper.

I heard the argument for Paisley Gilmour Street the other day on the radio, and it sounded like a good alternative for Glasgow.

To be honest I always thought the rail link was a nonsense. What is required is a dedicated exit at Paisley Gilmour Street station with regular free shuttle buses for the 5 minute trip to the terminal. It's easily as close as Luton Parkway station is to Luton Airport. Yes many other airports have stations 'on site' but often the ticket prices are extortionate. Even in Tokyo, where most of the trains were incredible, the Narita Express was pricey and slow.

I really enjoyed this film too - particularly the cold urban landscapes. Some of the violent parts towards the end were a bit over the top, but generally really good.
I can't believe they're making a Hollywood remake!

Look forward to reading your review! There was an interesting split among the London reviewers - along class lines, mostly (arguably), rather than artistic ones.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for fixing it! Apologies for using Internet Explorer, but I am not alone!

Good luck with the shortlist.

Interesting to see the Peer Gynt revival getting a mixture of reviews - critics and bloggers seem to like it or hate it. I am really looking forward to seeing it again now.
